2026 Divisions are now available.
To all those that have asked about the position of the 2026 season, I wish to thank you for your patience.
Following a meeting of the Avalon Committee, it has been decided that the future of Brean Golf Club impact on the league must be finalised.
- The Division 1 team Brean A has withdrawn voluntarily.
- The Division 4 team Brean B will continue and arrange matches as normal expecting no changes to the existing course for the foreseeable future.
- If in the event their course is unavailable, the team will withdraw and the 2026 season will continue with 5 teams and the Brean will possibly rejoint in Division 8 in 2027
Congratulations to Weston Super Mare A on winning the Shakleford Trophy in 2025.

Probably due to the server issues we have experienced recently, it has impacted getting assess to the official handicap calculator for the Avalon matches.
With this in mind I have decided to take on another server to host a ‘mobile friendly’ version that I hope will be easier to use in preparation for a match.
This other site only covers the handicap calculator at this moment and is a very crude site but in the future, who knows.
