The Avalon Seniors League was started successfully in 2016 based on 2 divisions. The 2023 Season was so well supported making it necessary to have 3 divisions.

At the end of the season, the top 2 teams in Div 2 and 3 will earn promotion for the  borrom 2 teams in Div 1 and 2 will be relagated.  

The top 2 teams in each divisions will be invited to Senior Finals Day.  

The winner of Senors Finals Day will be awarded the Rob Ford Trophy

The inaugural winner of the Rob Ford Seniors Trophy was Enmore Park GC. 

Enmore Park GC retained the trophy in 2017 & 2018, which is quite an achievement.

Stockwood Vale Seniors had a very successful season in 2022 but just lost out to the final winners Isle of Wedmore Seniors.

The maximum Course Handicap in the Seniors League is 20. This does not preclude higher handicappers playing in the League, but they will need to play as the maximum Course Handicap of 20 in the League matches.
